I've often heard that Vegas is great for a weekend, but after 2 days you've done everything and its time to leave. I moved here a few years ago to escape the snow and rain of the east while avoiding the humidity and bugs of Florida. As a relatively new local, I've found there are tons of things to do in this town for people with interests that are well beyond gambling and drinking. I've created this site to help inform potential visitors. This certainly is not a comprehensive view of everything Vegas, at least not yet. I hope you find it a useful resource.

Other travel sites will likely provide you more direct information about hotels, prices and tourist related information about the strip. The objective of this site is to give you a locals perspective, first hand opinion, and information about what exists in the Vegas area beyond the strip. This isn't a commercial site, so it isn't limited to those who choose to advertise. Consider the current state 'under construction' hitting most of the highlights. I'm hoping to start filling in more detail, providing links and adding in some of the more local informaiton soon.
